Hi, friends.

About me

I am currently the Customer Success and Digital Marketing Lead at ADR Notable, a technology startup in the alternative dispute resolution industry. I hold the senior-most position in managing, planning, and curating content across a variety of digital marketing channels. I am responsible for all email campaigns, website presence, SEO and design, digital advertising, social media, blogging, association partnerships and more. Additionally, I develop and lead all live and recorded software demos and build relationships to ensure client success and satisfaction with the product.

I graduated from the Ohio State University in May 2019 with a degree in journalism and a minor in media production and analysis. In my time at OSU, I held multiple positions at the award-winning student-ran print and digital publication, The Lantern. I began as a copy editor and an Arts & Life reporter covering the Columbus art scene in 2016. I continued into 2017 as a senior reporter, copy editor and created and produced the publication’s first podcast, Lantern Lites, a daily rundown of the day’s top news stories. I was then named the 2018-2019 co-editor of the Arts & Life desk in my last year. My responsibilities included managing and mentoring student reporters, budgeting stories and layout design, assigning stories & deadlines, running multimedia, and maintaining successful Arts & Life coverage.

During this time I also freelanced with 1870 Magazine as a comedy writer and general content contributor.

Additionally, the Ohio News Media Association placed me 2nd place in the category of Best Arts & Entertainment Writer in the state of Ohio in 2019.

I excel in interviewing my subjects, gaining a deep understanding of their stories and earning their trust in telling them. My style is conversational. I strive to make them feel comfortable in order to create work that is as authentic as they are. I love crafting questions that get them thinking. Questions they’ve never been asked before. The relationship between interviewer and interviewee is just as important as the outcome.

Before transferring to Ohio State in 2016, I was a division 1 collegiate soccer player at Youngstown State University where I spent the year studying telecommunications. When I wasn’t training I spent my time in the television studio and radio station learning the ins and outs of the business, behind the scenes and in front of the camera.

In addition to running a newspaper, I’m experienced in creating, producing, writing, brainstorming and editing multimedia content, such as news packages, scripts, radio and podcasts, feature/narrative packages, photography, broadcast media and more.

I enjoy creative writing, open-mic comedy, screenwriting and making new friends. I’m also torn between using the oxford comma or not. My training tells me no, my heart tells me yes. It’s very confusing.
